IDIASymbol API Failure

Can anyone tell me the reason why the API IDIASymbol::get_addresstaken
is failing for the symbol of SymTagEnum SymTagData. It always returns
false for all the symbols of data kind DataFileStatic or DataLocal.

Same is true for the API IDIASymbol::get_Compilergenerated. This API
is also failing for the valid data symbol.
I am using DIA SDK version 8.0. Are these APIs supported in this
version or we need higher version of DIA SDK
