Templates won't produce landscape drawings

I've recently swithched from Viso 2000 to 2002. Now my
landscape templates won't produce landscape drawings. If
I open the a landscape .vst file it comes up in landscape,
but if I create a new drawing with the template it opens
as a portrait drawing. I've checked the orientation and
printer settings in the template. Any idea of what is
wrong?
