How do I resize a document to place it in a Visio flowchart?

I am attempting to prepare a flowchart and I want to include small copies of
documents and photographs. When I try to copy a document over the the
flowchart, it copies as a huge document and then I am not able to reduce the
size to drag and drop it into the flowchart.

Hi fxg,

One option would be to copy it, then use Edit > Paste Special in, say Word.
Under Paste Special, choose metafile or bitmap. You'll have a much easier
time resizing these types of objects, and the size could be smaller, but no
guarentees.
