Componenet Diagram OR Distributed Diagram

Hi ,

I am involved in a new initiatives wich is a lan wide message broadcasting
system. Many servers and many clients. Message sent from servers should reach
the clients.

I would like to model this scnerio using Visio. Considering this scnerio,

1. should i go with component diagram OR distributed system diagram
2. Diff between component distributed system .

Pls help
