Visio doc with both portrait and landscape pages

Hi
Is anyone aware if Visio 2002 pro has the techical
capability to create a portrait drawing on one page (tab)
and landscape drawing on another?

Yes it can, but you must make sure that the Page Setup does not have the
"Same as Printer" option checked.

When you want to print the pages, you will have to switch the orientation of
the printer to match the page.

Do you happen to know if this feature is being developed
into a future version of Visio?

Being the novice programmer, I will go out on the limb
and say that it seems like a little slick programming
could overcome this. It really doesnt seem like I am
asking for much. Your thoughts ?

I have a number of documents that include a mixture of portrait and
landscape and various sizes of documents. Printing of these types of
documents has been a problem since the beginning. It should be too hard to
create a VBA script to query the drawing page and set the printer
accordingly.

I do not work for Microsoft, so I can not comment as to whether this feature
will be in a future release.
