Hi

I have a shapes file (vss) and a template file (vst) that were
developed using Visio 2000. For Visio 2000, the installation
instructions for these files specified that they should be added to
Visio's 'Solutions' folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Visio\Solutions
\SomeShapes).

Where should I store them in Visio 2003, which appears not to have a
Solutions folder?

Put them in the My Shapes folder in My Documents. You may also need to
add the path to this folder to the templates path
menu Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> File Paths

or create a folder for them under your Program Files or wherever, then
add the path to this folder in both the Stencils and Templates path.

N.B. If there is already another entry in either of these paths then
add a ';' i.e.
path1;path2

Thank you Paul, that worked fine.
