Virtual Server 2005 R2 Will Not Turn On

My installation of Virtual Server 2005 R2 will not allow me to turn it on. I
normally go to the administration web site on the host machine and then
simply click the drop-down next to the virtual server name and select "Turn
On". I need to get to an installed program on this virtual server. I've
restarted the service and rebooted several times. Does anyone have any
ideas?

I just had this problem, but I put it down to the fact that Virtual Server is
not supported on Windows 7. But I was able to start the virtual machines using
VMRCPlus.

What does the Virtual Server event log say? It should give you some
reason into the cause.
