Hello all
I am running Win ME in VirtualPC 2007 on my XP Pro box to try and run
System Shock 2, which will not even install on XP and uses DirectX 6.
When I try to run SS2 I get a message saying that my video card is not
compatible with SS2.
My card is an Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS, naturally with no drivers before
Windows 20000, but ME picks it up as S3 Trio 32/64 PCI.
Is there any way that I could fool ME in VirtualPC that my graphic
card is a compatible one, eg.

3DFx Voodoo, Voodoo Rush, Voodoo2, Banshee
nVidia Riva 128, Riva ZX, Riva TNT
Matrox G200
Intel/Real 3D i740
S3 Savage 3D
ATI Rage Pro
ATI Rage 128

Exactly, that's what Virtual PC emulates.

Exactly, and that's why I say Fuck you Bob and anyone working on this and what ever not for fucking putting in the most crappiest card because 'it's the one most compatible'


IT WONT EVEN FUCKING RUN ON 16-BIT, YOU, FUCKING, MORONS

God, are you all fucking brain dead? How am I supposed to run ANY program if it can't even do 16 bit.

SS2 runs fine on Windows XP (with a few issues that can be fixed
easily)
