ActiveX control on win32 console mfc dialog box

Hi all,

I am trying to include thirdparty activex control on mfc dialog box of
win 32 console application with mfc support. Dialog box could not with with
this control. without this it is working fine. What might be the cause?

If I choose MFC Dialog box application, it is working fine.

What are the differences between these two applications?

I added activex control by using : project | add to project | components
and controls option.
