SQL2005 Newbie please help

SQL server 2005 SP2 on Windows 2003 SP2 server

using sql server management studio to create db maintenance plans in sql 200
the maint plans would create a job for each function optization intergrity
backup translog
I do not see that in sql2005 only 2 jobs one for each db maint plan i
created

I would like to be able to schedule a translog backup every day how do I do
that now on sql 2005 I do not know much about sql scripts ne to all that

any ideas or suggestions
