Hi,

I have my first cube with two measure groups and some dimensions. I
can process it without any problems but when it goes to using it, some
data looks very strange to me.

When I get data divided by members of one dimension (Product) grand
total shows me exact sum of all members like here:
productA 100
productB 100
productC 200
Grand Total: 400 (OK)

When I get data divided by members of another dimension (Location)
grand total does not match the particular figures:

locationA 110
locationB 110
localtionC 160
Grand Total: 400 (instead of 380 - but value is the same as in first
example)

What can be the cause of this behavior?

cheers

Did you enable Unknown Member ?

In other words, do all locations from fact table exist in location dimension
table?

Also, is Location a non-materialized reference dimension - in which case
does every member of the intermediate attribute map to a Location
member?
