ODBC Connections Help Needed

I have an access database that had a few tables that are linked tables via
odbc to our SQL server. I also have some linked tables to a backend access
database.

The problem is, if I make a backup copy of the database, then the copied
database still had the links to the access linked tables, but none of the
SQL linked tables are still there, and I have to relink them all.
Does anyone know of a way around this problem.
