Sequel Server issue

We have installed a new sonic wall and router to an existing server ,we have
Lytec for a pm system, we now have big connectivity issues.
We can run it on one or two stations but it will shut down after a little
while, stating can't find sequel server can be found and it looks like it
want to create a new connection.
We wait restart the computer and after several try's will start.
The it people we have had (several of them) state that we are low on memory(
we are switching this system in two weeks) and that is why it is happening I
have a gut feelling it is something we changed and it won't recognize the
connection
We would appreciate any help
