Serveral times a day the update client runs on our domain workstations. On a few, when this happens they are effectively useless. The CPU cycles aren't necessarily high, but the hard drive access is. is it possible to adjust the GPO to run the scans at a lower priority? Marten

From what I can see this machine successfully downloaded and installed updates prior to this batch (August updates approved last night on our WSUS server). We have thousands of Windows clients (XP, Vista) that are using WSUS 3.0 for updates. When the WSUS server is updated to WSUS 3.0 SP2, will the automatic update client on the workstations need to be updated with a newer version? And if so, would it require a reboot?
