I have 30 PCs (all XP with SP3) in a AD domain running Enterprise 2008 Server
32bit version. 5 PCs I can not start Automatic update Service. It fails with
"Error 80004015 The class is configured to run as a security id different
from the caller."
So I ran a series of steps to Reset the registry and the file permissions as
I was instructed to do and it worked!! So i did the updates!! However the
next day when I log into the machine and Autheticate in the domain, if I want
to look for updates I get the exact same error. Is AD controlling the updates
?? and if so how can I reset this for these PCs. Are there any steps I can
follow to do this?? Any clues is really appreciated here.
Thanks,
