Hi,

I initially enabled client side targetting and added the group which I
created in WSUS 3.0. I still did not get the patches coming down from WSUS to
the clients. So, I have disabled client side targetting and I am assuming
since I have the GPO plugged into that particular OU it should be working,
which I have tried earlier and I was not successful.

Is there anything else I will have to do in order for the clients to get the
patches via WSUS. I have enabled the GPO for WSUS pushes and have configured
all that things that need to be configured. I have been having this problem
for the last 5 months and I was not sure what could be wrong that WSUS is not
pushing patches to the client nor clients are receiving it. WSUS sees the
clients and the clients are in the list.

Recently I read an article about WSUS 3.0 which stopped pushing patches if
there was Office 2003 in the environment or Word 2003 in the environment. I
have the link

I am not sure whether this is the problem, but I do see the error somewhat
similar to what has been mentioned in this article. But,any help would be
appreciated as for the last 4 months we have not had workstations patched.

Any more information on the GPOs that you are applying on those clients?
Which are the ones that you configured?

Cheers
