Wsus Notifcation in client

Hi All

I have installed Wsus 3.0 , i have doubt in wsus ,Is there any notfication
will be displayed in taskbar for non admistrative users. If we login has
adminstrator i can see notfication in taskbar. But for non adminstrative
users i can only see install patches when we try to restart or shutdown the
system.

Is there any way we can bring notification in taskbar for non adminstrative
users.

Why not?

If you are using GPO to deploy WSUS settings, there is setting in the GPO
that you have to enable:

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows
Components/Windows Update > Allow non-administrators to receive update
notifications

Do you know if a non administrative user can install the upgrades if you
select "Allow non-administrators to receive update notifications" using GPOs??

Yes. This will allow non-administrators to install the patches.
