Domain computers not appearing in WSUS

Hi All,
I am still looking around on the web, but I thought I would see if anyone
here has had similar experiences and knows what the cause might be.

Basically we have a pretty simple domain, not too many policies, but the
default domain policy has been modified to point everyone to a WSUS server.

Now a bunch of computers show up, and a bunch of others do not.. no reason
or rhyme that I can see.

Some of the machines that do not turn up are in the same OU as machines that
do turn up, so yeah.

I have done the gpupdate /force on a couple of missing machines, but to no
avail.
