ConfigMgr has now RTM'd and traditionally we would consider adding a few new
newsgroups for the new features.
We will not add new newsgroups for ConfigMgr, instead we will move to the
new TechNet Forums.
This also means that as time goes by, members of the product team and
hopefully some MVP's, will focus more of thier time in the forums and less
in these newsgroups. This doens't mean that these newsgroups will be
deleted.
There are currenlty no plans to do that.
The TechNet forums are very similar to other web based forums you might be
familiar with, plus they now offer a user ranking system and are indexed by
all of the popular search engines.
With the addition of these initial forums the "Configuration Manager
Community" becomes more interactive and a great resource for people to post
questions and get replies from experienced community members as well
Microsoft employees.
ConfigMgr TechCenter Community Page:
We are staring with 12 initial forums that are mapped to the most common
product features. More forums may be added as demand and activity increase.
The key to a successful community is in the participation. This is why I am
calling on all SMS, Configuration Manager and Asset Intelligence Veterans
and champs, to monitor and interact in this new environment.
Here is how to get involved today!
Direct link to the ConfigMgr Forums:

)
1. Click on the link above save it in your favorites, and once you are at
the site, register with your passport account.
2. Start Posting and
Answering Questions!
If you are totally new to the idea of how the TechNet Forums work, check out
the FAQ: (

Hope to you see in the new Forums!
Thanks,

I will see how things progress, but for now I'll be staying in these
newsgroups. I already mailed you my concerns for this move, so I hope
things will improve.
