Hi all,
In our office we use STS 2.0 beta. We have a site in it, which has
content of about 600MB. When i tried to migrate the content, it is splitting
all those content into 25MB files each. Therefore it has about 30 files.
(for eg. files are named as filemig,filemig1,filemig2,filemig3 etc...). When
i tried to restore those files, it is possible for me to restore only
filemig. If i try to restore other files, for eg. filemig1, it is displaying
following error.

Progress: e:\genesisbackup\newfolder\filemig1.fwp has order 1 but was listed
in order 0
28 Jan 2004 12:50:25 +0530 ERROR (possibly fatal):
ERROR: 131180 e:\genesisbackup\newfolder\filemig1.fwp has order 1 but was
li
sted in order 0
28 Jan 2004 12:50:25 +0530 Site closed
28 Jan 2004 12:50:25 +0530 Site collection closed

Same things happens, when i try to restore others files too. So can any one
help me in this regard. How to restore other files, which are migrated.

regards,
Sabeer

Hi Sabeer -

When restoring a site with smigrate, you only need to point it at the
filename you specified during the backup. If smigrate generated multiple
FWP files during the backup, it will automatically know that it should
restore the data in the additional FWP files as well. In this case, you
would want to point smigrate at the filemig.fwp file.

Hi Starr and all,
Thnk you for u'r kind response. But when i try to restore with the
mentioned fwp file, it is restoring only those sites in that file. (ie) it
is having sites in alphabetical order, so it restores only the starting
sites, remaining are not restored. Can u tell me, is there any possible way
to restore all the other files. Please reply me soon, as I couldn't proceed
further.
thank you

regards,
sabeer
