moving WSS 3.0 on window 2003(32 bit) to windows 2008 (64 bit)

Hi,

I have WSS 3.0 installed on Windows 2003 (32 bit). and SQL server 2005
running on Windows 2008 (32 bit).

I need to install WSS 3.0 on Windows 2008 (64 bit) but I need to point to
Existing Sharepoint databases on running on Windows 2003 (32 bit).

Can I point WSS 3.0 running on 64 bit to point to SQL server running on
Windows 2003 (32 bit) and use the existing sharepoint databases created when
installed WSS 3.0 on windows 2003 (32 bit)

If it can be done. Any suggestion on how to configure WSS 3.0 to use
existing databases will be helpful.
