MOSS sorting lookup column with multiple values

Hi,

I have 1 lookup column and "Allow Multipe Values" property of this field is
selected.

This field is shown as non-sortable in default view(All Items) of OOB list.

Is this an expected behavior for this type of columns,as the moment i
deselect the "Allow Multiple Values" property of this column this appears as
sortable.
