Wordperfect and sharepoint 3.0

I recently "upgraded" a sbs 2003 to sharepoint 3.0 and now the wordperfect
documents will not open. i can save them to a folder then open but will not
open directly from sharepoint. Any help would be appreciated i would like to
keep this customer.
