Workflow - add a field of type Person/Group to Task

Is there a way of adding a field/column to a workflow task that is of type
Person/Group

I am very new to SharePoint Designer

I have created a workflow using SharePoint Designer 2007

I used the Custom Task Wizard to create the workflow task display form

I would like to add a field for the user to select a person/group (just like
the Assigned to field) However, I do not see Person/group as a field type.

My end goal is to have the initial 'assigned to' person select the person
that will be assigned to the next step in the workflow. (the workflow will
then use that information to send the task assignment email for the next
step) having a static list of assigned reviewers like shown in the workflow
demo on microsoft.com is not practical for my use because the person assigned
to each step in the workflow may change each time the workflow is run

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
