international Corporation (H.O. based in downtown Montreal) a senior
SharePoint developer (permanent position)!

Job Summary

As a Senior SharePoint Solutions Developer with the Applications
Development team, this person will lead the technical design and
development efforts of SharePoint-related engagement.

A high level of technical expertise in development and delivery of web
based applications will help successfully design, develop,
troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code for web based
applications and sites. A deep SharePoint solutions experience will
allow effective integration of web applications with other enterprise
systems.


Job Responsibilities


Responsibilities will include participating in troubleshooting issues
and reported errors and providing technical support on escalated
issues, coordinating knowledge transfer from development partners to
in house development team, and mentoring and leading junior staff
members.

Demonstrating a high level of SharePoint expertise and capability
particularly in the area of custom workflows, event receivers, web
parts & InfoPath forms.


Knowledge and Experience


• A minimum of College diploma in a related field
• 8 years professional experience in a Software Developer role
including 5 years’ experience development in a .NET environment and 3
years of relevant hands-on development experience with SharePoint
portal (Workflows, web parts, and custom pages)

• Solid understanding of SharePoint 2007/2010 architecture

• Experience with .NET 3.5 technologies including WCF, WPF, and WF,
SharePoint 2007/2010 development

• Experience with Agile Development Practices

• Proficient in C#, SharePoint 2007/2010, and .NET Framework

• Strong knowledge of web development (XHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS,
DOM, XML, and XSLT)

• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and web services
would be an asset

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, works in a team environment,
understands and be responsive to project needs, and work under tight
deadlines

• Team player and excellent communication skills
