XP online games

How secure are the online games that come with XP?

With all these security holes in XP are there similar
problems with these games? The reason I ask is I have
not used any of these games but they appear on my
recently used programs at the same time as data was being
transferred via my modem which was not the Auto Windows
Update or similar.

I have the XP firewall on and was just interested if
anyone else thinks there could be a problem.
