Resource Usage Report updating

When link project files (MSP 07) into 1 master project file, the default
Resource Usage report accurately tells me the hours of work I have each week
for all projects. (currently I have only 1 resource labeled "draftsman"). I
can easily show my boss the workload for the future and whether or not I have
enough workers.

What do I need to update on my individual projects and what report do I need
so I can get a updated report of how much work I have remaining?

If I understand you correctly, you want to break out the Resource Usage view
to show remaining work per project? Just add the Project and Remaining Work
fields to the left hand side.

Then group by Project (Project > Group By) and you should be almost there.
