In other words, some lines of the table that were created with the same
thickness show different thickness on the final slide.
Is there anything I can do about this?

Check two things:
- Slide show view
- Printouts
I remember running into this and finding that while the line thicknesses
didn't always match up in slide view, they'd be ok when printed.
Another thing to check: after pasting the cells into PPT, do you resize
them? If so, don't paste; instead, try PasteSpecial, Link. The resizing
works much better that way.

I don't need to print my slides. The problem persists though when I'm in
"Slide Show View". Also, it doesn't matter whether I resize the image or
not. I'll try the "Paste Special" technique.
