Powerpoint will not project video

We recently replaced our old computer with dual monitors. The second monitor
is connected to a video projector. ON our new system, and on the primary
monitor the inserted video will play in ppt and on the monitor. Once we
point the presentation setting (presenter's view) to the 2nd monitor, video
will not play on monitor, in the ppt or projected on either monitors. I have
even declared the 2nd monitor to be the primary monitor (and presenter's
view) and the video still does not play in ppt or projector. The video is
wmv and on an easily located file on the desktop. The video plays in Windows
Media Player and MCI.

Is there a setting that I am missing? Settings on this computer is the same
as on the old computer system, but now we can no longer project our video.

What video card and driver are you using and how much ram on the video card?

If this is a laptop and you are attempting to send the video to the
projector see what happens if you get out of presenter view and set the
"show" to the projector by itself (turn off the onboard video using the Fn
key and the appropriate F key to toggle between the laptops, projector and
laptop & projector display. Does the video play then?

You also might try to reduce video acceleration in the settings area for the
video card driver.

If these things don't help, give us the information that Austin requested
but also include make and model of computer and if it is a laptop or desktop
and amount of total RAM in the computer. Version of OS & PowerPoint would
also be nice.

Video Card = Nvidia 256, driver = Dell for Nvidia, ram=2 gigs, Computer is
not a laptop = Dell Optiplex 745 - high end video card that's standard on
these business class machines. Video card has been replace once to double
check that this was not the problem.

The Nividia drivers have been problematic, have you checked to see if there
is an updated driver for that card?
