I assume jpeg but at what dpi?
JPG is best if small files are important to you and you're willing to
sacrifice image quality to get it.
PNG is best if you want the best image quality and don't mind larger files
DPI is nonsense
Pixels Rule
If you'll be driving the projector at 1024 x 768, that's the size you want
your full frame images to be.
