Is there a way to have a macro run right when the presentation opens. I have
a macro that when run with open a dialog box asking you to put in customers
name. It then places that information into the master slide. I would like to
have that dialog box come up with out having to physically run the macro. Is
that possible?

Thanks in advance

Jeff

Jeff,
You need to set a event trap within an Add-in and invoke your dialog on
PresentationOpen event. Check out the article 'Making PowerPoint respond to
Events' in the programming section of www.pptfaq.com. Also, if you do not
wish to code take a look at the free Autoevents add-in -
http://www.mvps.org/skp/download.htm which will invoke routines in the
presentation depending upon the event.
