Does any one know the number of slides limit for PPT 2007

I have a PPT 2007 file that has over 600 slides file size close to 250 M ( I
know it's big). When I try to save this file as PPS it stops at 580. Is
this the limit of the number of slides recognized or is there some corruption
on the file there.

While that file size is very large and likely to cause you problems, there
is no known slide limit. PowerPoint can handle thousands of slides. You are
probably dealing with some sort of corruption.
