I have embedded a viseo clip in a slide but when I go to preview all I have
is a black screen. The clip plays with Windows Media Player and also
mplayer2.exe I have powerpoint 2007 and also pfcpro 2007.

My first response is that the path/filename of the video is too long. Try
moving the presentation and video to a folder like "C:\Test" and then
reinsert the video.

Thanks,
I have tried that and I still get a black square in the slide which doesn't
change when I click play. No sound and no video.

Then I would download and re-install the Windows Media Player to correct
your file and codec associations.
