Have a look at your radius server log files and see if it has anything
there. I know for a fact that WM6 can do enterprise wpa/wpa2 connections.

The registry hack worked on Sprint HTC Mogul (WM6):
\HKLM\Comm\EAP\Extension\25\ValidateServerCert=dword:00000000

Thanks.

RE; the "My Dell Axim X51v (WM5) works fine. "

I have tried for 3 days to use WPA-PSK on my Axim X51v here on my home LAN,
and when it connects it keeps dropping the connection on precise 20 second
intervals, takes 1-3 seconds to re-connect, and then repeats this the whole
time it is accessing the wifi on my D-Link DIR655 Extreme N router (set to
mixed b,g,N mode).

If there is a way to fix this, or if you could give me some insight into
what the heck it is doing every 20 seconds, I would be most grateful. 3 days
of forum snorkeling found me only hundreds of poor souls with the same
problem, dating back to 2005, and no solutions.

Thanks!

Hello my fellow internauts,

I used to have the same problem until today. This is what solved it:

I went into Settings > Connections (tab) > Wi-Fi > Network Adapters (Tab)

and selected "NE2000 Compatible Ethernet Driver"

Ta-Dah!! It works like a charm now.

I had to insist a little the first time (it kept asking for my password) but
now it is ok.

Let me know if it helps.

This DOES help! Thank you! I had to set a static IP configuration in
the NE2000 Compatible Ethernet Driver's settings before it would work,
and even then it's still grabbing a DHCP address for the wifi
connection and discarding the static one I gave it, but oh well, I can
live with that :)
