Can I upgrade a PPC 2003 device to a newer OS

Hi,

I have been given a ViewSonic vr38 device, that has PPC OS 2003.

I want to develop for this device using Visual Studio 2008.

The OS is rather old, so wondering if its still able to be done with VS2008...

If not, is there away to upgrade a device that has PPC OS2003 to the latest
version of the OS ?

Hi Aussie,

I think usually it is impossible to upgrade the PPC OS,
I think this is a bit weird, in many countries 2 PPCs do cost
as much as one notebook.

I have tested VS 2008 trial version, and it comes with good
emulators from PPC 2003 to newer devices
