problem sync contact HTC 710 with PC

I've a problem with sync my contacts from my HTC 710 to my PC (vista,
windows mail, windows mobile devicecenter installed). I get a (dutch)
message. "Active sync has found a problem on the desktop". Can anyone help
me?

WMDC only syncs contacts with Outlook, not Windows Mail.

Unless you have Outlook installed, you have nothing to sync the 710 with.

Todd is right. Outlook is required to sync. However, Sybase Inc. has a
application which lets you sync to Windows Contacts, Calendar and Tasks. It's
called XTNDConnect Data transfer. I haven't tried it it though. A trial is

Thanks for the tip. It works. There is no trial version available, but is
costs only E 10.
