Anyone know where within the .net sdk 1.1 I can find Orca, to edit MSI
files?? I'm trying to find it off of
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/255905/EN-US/

Orca is part of the Platform SDK and can be found under the Bin dir

Is "Platform SDK" the same as .NET SDK ? I have installed the latter and
accepted the defaults to install to
\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\SDK\v1.1\Bin and I dont see it there. What I do
see is (perhaps it is one of these files, and I'm just not seeing it?):

No, it is not. The Microsoft Platform SDK is mainly for C++ programming.

On the page whose address you posted,

there are at least two links to the Platform SDK download page,
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=A55B6B43-E24F-4EA3-A93E-40C0EC4F68E5&displaylang=en
where the "Files in This Download" section (#filelist) offers
PSDK-amd64.exe, PSDK-ia64.exe, and PSDK-x86.exe.

The title "Windows® Server 2003 SP1 Platform SDK Web Install" looks
deceiving but ORCA is included in the download from that URL:
