Is there any way to save an email address to a specific group rather than just putting them in the main address book? I just took over as sec-treas of an organization that sends email to the entire group. I wanted to make up my own mailing list by harvesting the addresses from a news letter. Have a friend, his MB died. We want to pull his email addresses, emails off the HD. Thinking of using Eudora or Incredimail. Becaue I don't think windows 7 live mail, works like OE, or does it? The xp login page shows 6 unopened emails but I can't find them in OE6. I've looked and searched in all folders. I have IE8. How do I get rid of the message at the login that says there are unopened emails?

Hi, I am having two problems with Outlook Express on my desktop. When replying to mail I get a solid bar running along the left edge. The existing text does not get " <" inserted although it is clearly selected in the options. Any added text gets the bar also so there is nothing to differentiate added text.... more »
