My Outlook express is suddenly making me work off-line and needs a dial up
connection to send my mais, which then refuses to connect . Anyone know
why? Each time I put it back to working on line, when I 'send' -- it puts
me off-line again.

Check the settings under Tools | Options | Connection and Tools | Accounts |
Mail | Properties | Connection. It might help to remove the account, close
and reopen OE, and then add it back again.

Go to Tools>Accounts>select your account>Properties>Connections tab>Ensure
that "Always connect to this account using" is NOT selected, Apply>OK.
OE will then use any available connection.
Repeat the above process for all other accounts in your set up.
