I enlarged Read fonts in outlook express but still it not big enough for viewing on a 25 inch monitor

I have a large screen computer monitor and even the largest fonts are
small when seen on a big screen. Anyway to enlarge them. I picked
"largest" and it's not too large. Also anyway to make all messages in
Outlook Express go to bold lettering?

In OE, for just OE:
Try switching the OE Font to Verdana. It's a larger typeface in Tools;
Options; Compose tab.

And switch the fonts to Verdana in the "Read" tab. Now you've covered both
in/out going mails.

If you use HTML mails and stationary, the stationary can override settings
and have small print. Don't use stationary & see what happens.

If you receive HTML mails, it could be the Sender is simply using smaller
print that you can read easily. Remove the tick in Options to Reply in Kind.

Globally:

Try a lower screen resolution. Monitors always recommend a very high
resolution which can result in what you have.

At Control Panel, click the Display icon and select the Apperance tab. There
you can set the windows display screen font sizes.

Also in the same Display dialogs, usually in the Settings; Advanced (varies
with video card) you can set the DPI. Setting this larger will make
everything on the screen appear larger, including text. It's Normally set at
96 DPI. Set it to the 120% setting and see if that helps. If not, there is a
Custom Setting where you can enter larger numbers such as 150%, etc..

There might be other ways too; these are just off the top of my head.

As PA Bear indicates, try changing the monitor resolution via Control Panel
| display settings . Try 1024 x 768 and see if the text is too small then.
