Can too many reminders break net folders?

I have a client that likes to use tasks as reminders. At
times there can be 20 reminders on the screen at one time.
Sometimes she works around them, sometimes she'll snooze
them, but other times they can be on the screen for hours,
if she leaves her office.

She is in the habit of snoozing all of them for short
periods of time, like 5 minutes. So as new reminders
occur, they continue to accumulate. Recently she has been
having problems with her shared folders. Updates are not
being sent, received or processed - in either direction.

Does anyone know if the number of reminders constantly
popping up could be causing a problem?

Because of an error:
Invalid Page Fault in Module Fldpub.dll,
I have performed step 1 (nfclean.exe) and will continue to
step 2 in KB #Q266732, but I just want to verify that the
number of reminders on the screen is not a problem.

Thanks for anyone's input.

BTW - Outlook 2000, Win98se, and using Microsoft Mail on a
Win98se workstation for the server. Only two users and two
pc's involved, including the non-dedicated server. The non-
dedicated server is NOT the user with the shared folders.
