How do I PREVENT text in emails from being different sizes and some bolded?

This happens - seemingly without rhyme or reason - while I am composing an email.

Usually when cutting and pasting a line of text to a different part of the message.

Then it is impossible to get all of the text back to the same size.

Minor issue except it may convey to the recipient that I am emphasizing something because it is larger or in bold.

THANKS in advance for any suggestions.

Try gathering the entire email with the mouse, then select font type and
size; all should be the same then.

Thanks, Don.
Sometimes that works, but after cutting/pasting, that particular text is often immune to any change in size. Or it may change to a different size other than indicated when you highlight it.
