Thank you, Milly. What you describe (Search Options/Instant Search Pane/When
searching, show results from:) seems to be different from the old option that
I am trying to find. With the old option I could select a folder, and then
decide whether to search its subfolders or not. If I select this new "All
folders" option Outlook will search all folders, not just the selected folder
and its subfolders. That's not what I need. I use Outlook to access 50 or so
mail accounts on the same Exchange Server, and each of them has subfolders in
the Inbox. Plus my own account. Some of these are very structured, so I used
to browse, click once, and then search inside. I need to be able to search
for mail like it was possible with Outlook 2003, i.e. in any Inbox (mine,
i.e. cached, or additional accounts) or folder thereof, with or without
subfolders.
