Holidays always display with the location field filled with "Unites States"
or some other indicator defining their general group. I would like to remove
the location or supress it when viewed (for Holidays only). The only way I
can seem to do this is to edit one individually. Can anyone suggest an
alternative. Could I export the holidays some way to an Excel file and edit
them as a group there?

Thanks for the prompt response. I attempted the export to a .csv file which
I could easily edit in Excel but it loses all recurring events in the
process. Also, having feared to try this, if I edit only the holidays and
import the edited .csv file, will it merge with existing Outlook data or
delete/overwrite existing data?

Remove all but the holidays from the file - this is easy if you sort by
category in excel. Delete extras that are supposed to be recurring holidays
and make the remaining one recurring either in the file or after import.
you can either tell it to replace duplicates or delete the holidays from the
calendar (use a table view like by categories).
