Business Contact Manager errors

On a regular basis I receive the follwoing error messages
when I open up a contact in Business Contact Manager or a
itme in the Business Contact History.

Microsoft Office Outlook
The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an
Outlook form instead. The form required to view this
message cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator.

I then click OK and get the following error message.

Business Contact Manager
Array index out of bounds.

I tried a repair of Office 2003 and uninstalled and
reinstalled Business Contact Manager, stillg et the same
problems.

I'm having the same problem - have to uninstall and reinstall BCM. Also
- files, message, notes do not link to Opportunities.
I imported an ACT Database into BCM - but even new opportunities do not
link up.:mad:

I had the same problem. Soon after I configured Intellisync to work
with BCM my business contacts stopped working because of the error you
described. After a lot of heartache I figured it out:

1) Close Outlook
2) Search for frmcache.dat on your hard drive and rename it
frmcache.old.
3) Restart Outlook and try clicking on any of your Contacts

Outlook should recreate the proper form and then you should be good to
go.

A new mail profile will fix this. Or, you could file an incident with Microsoft Support, which may have other cures.

Besides that, I use CardFila.com to collect all his business cards on iPhone. You can do this on Android, computer, laptop.
So easy to collect, find and use any contact at any time. It is an useful business card manager to avoiding errors.
