Subject: BCM Contacts is not an option in Address Book dropdown
I just setup Outlook 2007 with BCM. I used an existing .pst file and
connected to an existing BCM database which seemed to work fine. All the
emails are linked to the proper accounts and contacts. I found a problem
when I went to create a new email message. There is nothing in the address
book. I went to the address book properties to select the BCM contacts as my
default but the dropdown is blank. There is nothing to select. Can someone
steer me in the right direction so that I can get the BCM contacts to show
up in the address book?

Thanks,
Dave F.

I found the problem and thought I would share my stupidity. After the
database was restored it was not an option in the Outlook address book.

I went to Contacts, right-clicked on Business Contacts, clicked on
Properties, clicked the Outlook Address Book tab and checked the Show this
folder as a e-mail Address Book. I closed the BC Properties window and the
BContacts were once again an option in the Address Book.

Sometimes the smallest things can drive you crazy.

This helped me!  Thank you. For whatever reason when connecting to
different databases with BCM it does not always select this option be
default.
