hi, my colleague uses two monitors and when he tries the window+s feature (and also insert/screen clip) it fails to take a clipping - it allows him to highlight an area, but does not save anything to clipboard or onenote, regardless of changing the screen-clipping settings. it works fine when he reverts back to using one screen.... more »

I can't open any of my notebooks! They have a red circle with a line in the middle of the circle beside each notebook and the message: this notebook has not been connected in 15 days. Question on Side Notes

Forgive me if this has been asked before. Once I've closed a side note, and it's in my Unfiled Notes, is there a way to convert it back to a side note, short of cutting and pasting the contents into a new side note?

I have been keeping an ON daily journal with a Section for each month, Page for each day. If, instead, there was only 1 Section, 1 Page for each month, a SubPage for each day.. would there be any good reason to not do it that way? Thanks,

How to keep OneNote Notebook off local drives.

I've got my notebook pointed to my external drive. I noticed however even if my drive is not connected, I can still open that notebook. So where is it storing this locally? I purchased Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 a few months ago, put in the product key, and everything, including OneNote, was working great. I just recently upgraded to Windows 7 and all of my Office programs work great, except OneNote. It says it needs to be activated, but the code from the original purchase does not work. highlighting bullet-points-- is this a bug?

In onenote 2007, I notice every once in a while a bullet-point/arrow/ etc becomes highlighted, but I can't figure out how to make this happen when I want it to. It seems to have something to do with whether the line where a new bullet-point goes has had highlighting in it... Has anyone been able to figure this out?... more »
