Unlock [all]? or unlock [associated]

I currently use OneNote 2007.
With SEARCH capability, I often am faced with the message "x amount found, y
amount in locked notebooks that must be unlocked to view."
Well, that sounds great.
Until, that is, you are faced with 100 sections you have to unlock- not
knowing which ones contained the information means you have to unlock each.

I'd like to create desktop or file system shortcuts to particular OneNote
pages or sections. The shortcut would act as a convenient reminder to check
back to that page.
This seems like this is probably a common task but I can't see how to do it.

2010 Beta: New "Linked Note" Feature Not Working

I have downloaded the 2010 Beta version, but the new function
"Linked Notes" (which automatically adds links to the program one is
using -- if one uses the "docked" screen view) does not work at all.
Has anyone else experienced this? Or know how to remedy it?
I am using the 2010 OneNote file format (which is required to use

I am using OneNote more and more. 2007 was greatly improved over 2003 and I
am liking 2010 Beta thus far. I've sent a billion smilies and frowns.
One thing I am wondering is about meeting notes. There are links between
Outlook and OneNote about meeting notes and all, but I don't see any realy
cross functionality. In fact I opened up the same meeting on my Outlook

I am using the new 2010 file format (and I believe you are correct
that the new "linked note" feature on the docked window works ONLY
with the new format).

I Need to create a page with FAQ "Frequently Asked Quesions" what will be
the best way to create the questions taking into consideration that this
questions will grow to upto 40 or 50

I found the answer, at least for my machine. In Outlook 2010 Beta, go
to File > Options > Add-Ins. At the bottom of the screen, select
Manage: COM Add-ins and click Go.... Make sure OneNote Notes about
Outlook Items is selected.

What you want is creating a hyperlink to an existing page.
It's a backward procedure, starting from the target:
1. Go to your target page
2. Set the cursor at the target postion or click on a target note
3. Right click on the target position/note
4. click "Create hyperlink to ..."
