Windows Update should have an option to send email notifications.

I'msorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place. However, I'm using Windows
XP SP3, and I think that Windows Update would be much better if it sent
e-mail notifications. I recently disabled Automatic Updates because it was
using a lot of memory, but I could probably still keep up with updates if I
got email notifications.

If you search Google, you will find that other people have requested this,
too.
