How can I reinstall XML.doc that was erased by MS-Office?

After a beakdown of one of my harddisks (I hav 2 disks in Raid1) a new disk
was installed and Raid 1 was repaired. Now every time I start my computer
this message appears: "XML Error: LOad XML.doc failed". My PC supplier says
that this is caused bij MS-Office that has overwriiten the original. I use
Windows Vista Business 64 bit and MS-Office XP.
Can someone tell me what I can do to let this message disappear and venr
show again ?
